New Map The Dam and Ratings Change

First off, I've released my new map The Dam last night.  Its about a 5 minute map that is FPS based and should be completely different from the maps you've probably played before in AdventureCraft. Check out the trailer below.



Second off, I've decided to redo how ratings are calculated and moved to a truncated mean (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Truncated_mean).  Basically wild outliers have been pestering me for a while and wanted to address them in some way and this works decently well.  As a result, you will notice the ratings have changed up slightly (order is all pretty much the same).  Its a 10% truncated mean for those curious and when I have time to address the website more you will be able to see how many people voted 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1 diamonds.


BTW anyone can reuse anything they want from The Dam just needs to be shared under similar license.

    In the near future, I probably won't be making more as I want to try out something different testing some new stuff I will be working on over the next few weeks.

    Hi cryect i want to report a glitch!
    If you got a shotgun with 1 ammo in it and shoot rapidly it you can fire like a MG. The one ammo will be lesser by 1. srry for bad engish, because im german.

    more importantly:
    What exactly did you use for the spinning helicopter blades?

    @ALEX3, thanks I will check that out
    @99887, look at the helicopter.js script. Two different models with the blades attached to the helicopter which I then rotate separately.

    I cant download it because my AdventureCraft crashes when I try to open the Download a Map feature!
