5000+ Users in a day!

Just want to say thanks to everyone using AdventureCraft.  Reached 5443 unique visitors yesterday to the blog which usually are about 97% to 98% are visiting from the launcher so should be well over 5k users.  Note this doesn't count Mac users who currently have an issue with the launcher not being able to start the browser.

  1. Just a question, i like the browser in a way, but is there anyway to start the adventurecraft mod without using this? whenever i doubleclick the shortcut, it brings up the browser. When i don't have an internet connection, the browser wont load, therefore i cannot click 'start' to play it :( if there's any fix for this, please lemme know. If you need any proof i have a legitimate minecraft account, i can prove it to you (if that's what the browser thing's for?)

    thanks!

  3. @Chris ya, I have the same problem as well. I pretty sure he is looking into it. For now though, we just have to wait. Oh i should also mention, you run the adventureCraft.bat the launcher WILL pop up. obviously you can't update, but you can still run it. WARNING: If you do start AdventureCraft this way, it may revert back to normal minecraft and erase any adventurecraft blocks close to the player. Just hit create a new world and see if it is adventurecraft or not.

  4. Yeah, I meant to look at the issue with not having the internet connected this past weekend but it slipped my mind. I assume it is just taking a long time to time out the browser?

The latest launcher shouldn't have any issues with updating the client and not starting AdventureCraft. If it is then I need a repro case since I can't cause the issue anymore.

  5. Hey Crytec, could you show me a tutorial on how to use java scripting please? It's too awesome in this for me not to be able to use it :(
Also, can you make a trigger that activates when hit by a projectile(Hookshot,arrow,snowball,etc...) please?

  6. @Cryect Ya, i think it take a SUPER long time for it to time out the browser, especially because its internet explorer. I have waited 20 min before and it still wouldn't load the launcher. Thanks for the hard work you've been doing, keep on being awesome :D Oh, and for us newbies at scripting, perhaps a tutorial will be made in the future? I've noticed there is the start of one on the Wiki.

  10. You are using really old versions of the launcher that allow to run the game with the wrong version of Minecraft.
